If you have had a work accident, and you feel that it creates a toll on your mental health, feel free to contact us for a consult. We work with WSIB on a regular basis, and we’ll help you in submitting a request for psychological services if your situation requires it. One of the new programs developed by WSIB is the Community Mental Health Program, which is designed to give people access to psychological assessment and evidence-based, outcome-focused treatment using a client centered approach. The Community Mental Health Program is for people who: have a registered WSIB claim or recurrence; have experienced a psychological reaction after a work-related physical injury, or; have experienced a significant psychological response to a workplace incident or cumulative incidents, such as traumatic mental stress, chronic mental stress, or first responder post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). We work with WSIB on a regular basis.
